Favorite book, movie, or TV show and why:
I don’t really watch TV, but I used to love Survivor and The Amazing Race when they first came out. I enjoyed the competitiveness and the strategic mind games of the shows.
Tell us about your pets:
I have one sweet pup named Lola. She’s a pointer-pit mix that I rescued about 10 years ago. She’s a very sweet old lady—loyal, loving, and the very best dog ever.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, it would be invisibility. That way, I could listen to conversations without being present and sneak in and out of places unseen.
What’s a fun fact about you that might surprise others?
A fun fact about me that might surprise others is that I’m scared of heights. Ladders, ski lifts, and zip lines are NOT my favorite things!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
When I’m not working, I’m usually out on my mountain bike riding or racing. I spend a lot of time in the hill country exploring some incredible bike trails.
What’s your favorite travel destination and why?
My favorite travel destination is Bentonville, Arkansas, for two reasons: my daughter lives there, and it’s the mountain biking capital of America. It’s absolutely gorgeous!
What’s your go-to comfort food?
One of my favorite comfort foods is shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. I love pasta, carbs, and all the delicious sauces that go with it, although I don’t eat it very often.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” Sometimes, you have to be the change to create the change you want.
What’s your favorite quote?
My go-to quote is, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” by Neale Donald Walsh. It always motivates me when I’m nervous about trying something new and different.
