Definitely Supernatural. That’s where I developed my love of classic rock! It was also my mom's and my favorite show to watch together, so it holds a special place in my heart now that she’s gone.

We have two fur babies—Ruby and Oliver. Ironically, they both showed up at Katy Blinds as strays (at completely different times). I always say that we didn’t adopt them; they adopted us!

Ruby is a Labrador/Great Pyrenees mix and the biggest snuggle bug ever. Her favorite things are treats, chew toys, and making new friends (both human and canine). I’m so grateful for her because she helped me through one of the darkest and most difficult times in my life. She’s absolutely my soul dog and best friend.

Oliver is a tabby cat that was on death’s door when we found him. After some time and lots of TLC, he’s now a happy, healthy little guy who loves to nap and chill with his people. When it’s playtime, his favorite activity is chasing the laser pointer or playfully bapping Ruby when he’s feeling spicy.

I’d choose time travel so I could go back in time and witness historic events or fix mistakes I’ve made in the past.

I’m a huge metalhead! From old-school heavy metal to modern deathcore, it’s my happy place and my favorite way to jam out.

I mostly enjoy playing video games, reading, watching anime, and 3D printing.

My favorite travel destination is Colorado. There’s nothing more majestic than the Rockies, and being able to see thousands of stars in the night sky is incredible. As a Texas gal, I also appreciate the beautiful mountain weather and lack of humidity!
